Guidelines and uses for selecting from the 13 shades

| White | Replicates white spots, cracks, and similar features |
| Blue / Gray / Lavender | Replicates the incisal edge and similar features |
| Ochre / Dark Brown | Replicates pits, fissures, cracks, and similar features |
| Clear / Yellow / Red | Adjusting shade (by mixing with other colors), and similar uses |
| Pink Opaque | Replicates areas near the gingiva, neutralizing dull areas, and similar uses |
| High Chroma Opaque / Medium Chroma Opaque / Low Chroma Opaque | Adjusting chroma (masking effect), and similar uses |
