In everyday clinical practice, many kinds of cement are used to place prostheses and restorations, but we use adhesive resin cement (with pretreatment of the bonding surface) to prevent secondary caries and dislodgement. The adhesive resin cement we recommend is ESTECEM II, which combines bond strength (through BONDMER Lightless, a multi-use material with high bond strength), operability (a two-paste, dual-cure system with easy removal of excess cement), and physical properties (stain resistance and wear resistance).
ESTECEM II comes in four shades (Universal, Brown, Clear, and White Opaque), and while the Universal shade is used far more than the other shades as its name might suggest, we present recommended cases for each shade since they are sometimes used as well.
